At 15:18 on the same day, in front of the No.1 CXTZ furnace in the titanium chloride slag plant, the workshop staff opened the No.2 slag outlet on time. The fiery red slag water instantly filled the slag ditch and directly flowed into the granulation tower. Under the action of high-pressure water flow, the slag water turned into small particles and smoothly flowed into the large inclination belt through the dehydration of the dehydrator, successfully transported to the slag cooling plant. During the slag removal process, the equipment in each process runs smoothly.

The water quenching slag process is an innovative process for slag treatment in the 500000 ton Panxi titanium concentrate upgrading and transformation titanium chloride slag innovation project. To ensure the successful operation of the slag water quenching system, the factory has taken a series of measures to ensure safe slag discharge before trial production, in response to the characteristics of multiple unsafe factors such as easy explosions in the water quenching process.
